Greetings from Lausanne, Switzerland!

view from our hotel's room yesterday evening

it is a business trip for my husband and a leisure trip for me… i know… i know… i am the luckiest wife to be able to join my husband on his business trip whenever there is a possibility.

yesterday we drove to Lausanne from Germany in wet weather. AGAIN! it was strange to see history repeats itself which was about the same time last year, it rained so much until we reached Lausanne. it was so wet and cold… brrrr… only on the last 3rd day in Lausanne last year we were being forgiven by the weather to have dry day even though there were teasing skies of dark clouds and sign of thunderstorm on our way to Geneva. it never rained and we made it dry to Geneva. i hoped this time we will or i will have some nice day to stroll along the lake and to take home some photographs of beautiful Lausanne. it is a very pretty place, i wish you were here!

this morning we woke up on our first day in Lausanne to see outside our windows of wet grayish atmosphere. it is now 1 o'clock in the afternoon and fortunately the gray weather sky didn’t stay like that all day long. I already saw quite a number of people walking along the quay from my 4th floor room which is facing the lake. how fortunate to have this hotel room view!

my cappuccino Aroma Schokolade while blogging for you

here are few photographs of wet Lausanne a view taken directly from our Mövenpick hotel’s room. we are so happy where our hotel is located is by the lake, by the quay, near a pharmacy shop, the bakery shop, close by the brasserie, some restaurants hence there go my diets!

i better get myself ready to stroll along the Ouchy quay while the weather is still A-OK and i am about 10 minutes walk away to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.

i hope you enjoy viewing my few photographs of Lausanne. i'm going to post and i don't do grammar or spelling check because my laptop is running out of batteries, essh. taa for now.
