slowing down on blogging

Dear Peepers,
I was once a happy Blogger for having a full-time bum at home. Now, I have to down because I have to and I hate so. I love to blog but the majority of my time now is sucked up to attend German language class and photography shooting. I couldn't even realize how fast time past going to class from Monday to Friday 5 hours a day and 7 hours in total outside my computer life. Every afternoon I came home is a must to finish my school work and the next thing I know, here comes the weekend - time for house chores, groceries shopping and quite often so reluctant to meet up with friends or to have guests around our apartment :( Here are my list why I have decided to slow down blogging:
  • of course, it is not because I am getting older, oh you...
  • blogging is simply hard, spree-spending time is really easy to pour down the drain, but to use Time productively is a lot harder. Is blogging hard work? I think it is. I could spend the whole day blogging and sharing my personal photos for my readers
  • blogging needs creativity to drive my readers in, not only from a circle of friends but also from other fingers-google with similar interest
  • expecting feedback? you bet! I like to know what my readers think of my post
  • useless to blog? sometimes my brain tells me it is useless to blog but my heart tells me to go on and write what I feel. Now I dunno who to follow
  • despite all kinds of feeling and thinking and plotting to continue blogging or not, I intentionally wanna leave behind some of my footprint on my personal blog. It would be great to read my blog again in 10 years time - who knows!
  • last but not least, we'll catch each other up somewhere, somehow around here
WAIT! I am not completely giving up blogging - anything can happen in the future, I might come back :-) xoxoxo

summer in Miri to autumn in Germany

August in Miri: i love walking on the beach, smell the fresh sea salt air, hear the sound of the waves and what not, how the warm tropical sea breeze treats you. the best of it is, when you get your feet dipped in the sand and the gentle waves stroked over them... oh thatsso wunderbar!

now i am back in Germany in the month of September, the harmonized of this season are different and all sounds, no matter how standstill, are as crisp as autumn air = i'm loving it!

Musim Luruh in Malay, Autumn in Europe and Fall in America: i went to my former hometown at Lake Trappensee in Heilbronn yesterday. my little paradise has already created a very beautiful changing colors in leaves, hence some snapshots to bring home with me.

this is my little paradise and all my three little cygnets are fully grown up - at the foreground is their mama.

dining at Augustenstüble, Stuttgart

hi Peepers!
i'm blogging again... there were a lot of things had happened in the past 4 months, to name some: my brother's shocking brain tumor, my tooth pain that i ended up going through apicoectomy operation, then the moving places from Heilbronn to Asperg - oh it was so stressful. last month i was in malaysia for the whole month of august, almost! it was heavenly fantastic and i wished for another 2 more weeks to be with my dear family. time flies like an arrow and fruit flies like a banana...

today i wanna blog about our dining place we went to last night. a restaurant name Augustenstüble and it is located in Stuttgart. we drove there and parking was a nightmare, it was like a dog chasing its tail and we had to park our car illegally. thanked God, we did not get parking ticket at the end of our dinner. the next time we come back here, we will take a train. it was our first time to dine in this restaurant, introduced by my brother-in-law. thumbs up!

Augustenstüble restaurant serves a French style cuisine. the restaurant atmosphere was relaxed, easy and rustic. as for the food size...? it was quite a huge portion and luckily i did not order my starter. hubby did, he had fish and prawn on risotto and i had some scoops from his plate. unfortunately, i did not take any pictures of it.

i had lamb fillet, it was quite huge for the size of my teeny-meeny stomach :-) the meat was so tender, tasty and it was so easy to chew it down into your hungry belly. i left 1/5 of it on the plate, i just could not finish it all :(

my lamb fillet came with mashed potatoes. oh gosh, the mashed potatoes was creamy and nyum-nyum, but i ate only 1/4 of it :-( like i had said, it was a huge portion and hubby even try to help to eat it for me. he likes it too ;-)

hubby had Boeuf (Beef) Bourguignon served in a big pot and a bowl plate, yes! a POT (not in the picture!) and it came with a basket of sliced french bread. he only had to serve himself and take how much he can eat with a ready ladle. i assumed there were like 8-10 big chunks of meat in there. Boeuf Bourguignon is a typical tradition french cuisine. it is a stew prepared with beef in red wine, beef broth, garlic, onions, carrots, etc... hubby can cook this cuisine at home but it takes a lot of time and eating it here in this restaurant, save you all the troubles: your time and cleaning up!

all messed up

my heart is sinking.
i don't know how to explain my Blog situation right now but i try.

because my Picasa photo album online almost runs out of storage, i have to remove some photos to give way for the new one. the first folder Photo Album i pressed to DELETE was my Blog photos that went there automatically as copies. i never set any copy to go there and i don't know how it went there either.

i am puzzled, some photos was not sent to my Picasa, survived in my Blog! before i delete my Blog photos in Picasa, i have many thoughts about it. so, at the same time while deleting one album at a time, i made sure my photos in my Blog are not affected. it didn't. yay!

when i visited this Blog another day, all my BLOG photos deleted in Picasa, VANISHED! they came out as a little 'square box' in my Blog!! my photos in my Picasa also gone bizarre :(( i don't know what i have done! my Blog header photo also VANISHED and what can i say about my profile photo in here = DISAPPEARED!

i will have to find a lot of time to find the folders because most of the photos are saved in my other external Hard Disk Drive.

speechless.

Comedy: German: Improve your English

i am laughing out loud at this fellow German speaking English. Wrongly use preposition could make the word really funny...

.... but, if he hears me speaking German wrongly, he too, could laugh to death if i used the German verb wrongly. For example, in English we use the word EAT for people and animal. Not in German. Look here:

My friend eats fish. i will say "Mein Freund isst Fisch".
My dog eats fish. I must not say "Mein Hund isst Fisch but Mein Hund frisst Fisch". You got what i mean?

NinaOA's Shadow | NinaOAs Schattens

Das ist der Schatten von NinaOA. This is NinaOA's shadow.

Every morning she walks to her bus stop and she carries her big school bag to school.

She loves to walk by the lake, watched the birds and the fish in the water.

She arrives early in class so that she can eat her bread she bought at Mr. Baker for breakfast.

When the sun shines in the classroom, she loves to play with her shadow and make silly shadow play.

She tries to lift her books with her shadow in case it is possible to move but she could not.

She tries again even though she knows her shadow has no soul.

Diese sind ihre Schulsachen und ihr Apfelsaft-Getränk. These are her school accessories and her apple juice drink.

She was excited to see the 'ghost-look' reflection appeared from her apple drink.

She has finished her class for the day and she goes home. She walked around this lake again. She waves from a bridge where the water flows.

Sie hat einen fantastischen Tag. She has a fantastic day.
