as i was walking along Ouchy quays, my stomach started to beg for food - because i smell food all around and i stopped by at this Le Lacustre restaurant, located upstairs. i had toasted cheese and a bottle of diet coke and it costs me Fr$12.00 plus tips. Gila mahal kan. Crazy price.
after i have finished consuming my calories for energy, i stopped one level down of the restaurant's stairs to photograph this lake view.
from my camera lens, i saw a man in dark suite who was standing alone at a pole marked 4, and i wished him to go away. Telepathic may be it, that he shifted few steps away when he saw me photograph. that’s why we don’t see him in this picture. now i wished i have him in there, somewhere… somehow….
about half a mile i have walked away from this restaurant, all of a sudden i saw that same man in dark suite was standing like 50 yards nearer to me! my watch showed it was past 3 o’clock in the afternoon. there were people around and i wasn’t panic but afraid. i warned myself he has been following me!! i acted as if i didn’t see him standing there and watching me - thanked God i wore sunglasses to have a look at him from the corner of my eye!

when i have finished photograph this school of small fish swimming in this lake, i was so ready to head to the crowded zone, he quickly approached and stood in front of me and asked “can i take a photograph of you?” quickly i said “no, thank you”.
he was a well groom man and we started talking and throwing questions if i am here for a holiday and bla… bla… bla… little do i asked, he said he lives in Geneva and came to Lausanne for a meeting that was scheduled at 3pm but postponed to 4pm, hence he walked around and saw me photographing. he said he is originally from Holland, but i don’t want to encourage further for this stranger to talk more to know me and told him i am here with my husband and he started to get a bit confused in his conversation of what to say next.

by coincidence, this was the view we both saw and he pointed to the middle building is a Savoy hotel where his meeting is held… ewww… he was polite and said he must leave because his watch showed it was 3:40pm as he said it loud.
here is a photograph of him but from his back that i quickly photographed to take a glimpse of him. well groomed, don't you think so?
the terrifying part was that, i already saw this man nearby the restaurant when i went for my snack. i don’t know how long and how far he had been following me! of course, i buzzed this whole eerie encountered to my husband and to our friend, Bob. my guts already told me something fishy when i first 'detected' him standing at the pole no. 4 looking at me like a hawk and i don’t want to be foolish about it.

Scary juga kan. Like stalker only. Hmmm...teruss speechless when you say you are with hubby. Definitely ths guy have something on his sleeve.
hi Joyce, you're so quick in here :)) Yabah, siapa tidak takut when thing like this could happen out of a sudden and being unaware kan. rupa dia pun boley tahan jugak but i dont buy stranger's look and how a person dressed up bcos that is the package that could get one into trouble, kan. oh, lupa saya siar rupa dia dari belakang. gotta look up for that picture saya curi ambik soon as he walked away...
Hi Nina,
As always your photographs are just simply lovely but really glad that you are ok and managed to chase the man away...Oh it would have freeked me out if something like that happens to me.
I have not been stalked but I have been looked and stared at even with Tonnie standing beside me, eewww, that is already errieee to me......really hate that....
You take care there ok, just be as alert as you were yesterday...
Hugs,
Joann
Oh my gosh Nina... that was close kan. It's a good thing, you were alert the whole time... He might be well groomed but as you said that's the "package"... never get fooled by this people's appearance, he's obviously up to something fishy. I've been stalked a few times here too... some guy came up to me and pura-pura mistook me for somebody else and began to strike a conversation with me... but no senor... I am a happily married woman and I definitely will not buy your crap... There was one time when I was still in Cosmetology school, this professional well groomed looking white guy followed me and pretend to asked for the time... macam lah saya si bodoh, he actually was wearing a watch... I told him I don't have a watch... hehe. He got the hint... There are so many psychos out there, we just have to be very extra careful ... take care ladies.
Awesome pictures you took there! The sceneries are so beautiful and breathtaking! Yes, I wish I were there!
Thank God you were okay after that short encounter with a stranger. I agree with you about how a person's look from the outside doesn't always tell the true story of his/her personality.
I wish you had an enjoyable stay in Lausanne. Take care and be good.
Bonjour JoyceC, Joann, Dora, Veron and my fellow bloggers.
yes, there are so many strange bipeds(!!) out there that are hard to detect. i will insert that Mr Eerie guy "back photo" in this same blog after my lunch snack kio. i saw a restaurant selling crepe nearby and it opens at 11:30am. it's now 11am. i just came back from a beautiful morning walk close by the lake and as soon as i walked in to the hotel and saw this machine with no one around, terus la saya bergayut sebentar... hehe.. i will post his photo but from my laptop because the photos are all in there.
thank you for dropping by Ladies. i will visit and check whats new in yours soon.
sending many hugs and you take good care of yourself too.

ahhh... for speaking too soon out of frustration, i managed to upload Mr Eerie's back photo here. please do not copy this photo elsewhere. it is only for my personal story to tell. thank you ;)
you maybe right there, Dora. Is that what you called dress to kill, LOL? pandai phobia kalau saya tengok pelanduk dua serupa macam dia sudah bah... but i hope i will never ever meet anyone like him again, freaky scare bah...
Nina... check my blog ... you've been tagged... You must do it, I am so curious of your "tag responds"...
hah! now i know what you wanted after reread your blog again, doh nya sayer!! lol
yesterday we arrived in Lyon, France from Lausanne and checked in to our hotel in downtown Lyon. we met 2 different male shifted staff, afternoon and evening and asked if there is an internet connection in the hotel or nearby. both gave one straight inhospitable look and said NO. this noon i went downstairs to get 3rd answer and this time a woman. she is OK and she said if i have a laptop there is a free wifi in the room! how can those men not telling us about the internet connection?! to be bodoh or simply kedekut??! anyhow, i'm here and happy to be able to be connected to my internet friends again :))
Nina... those guys are either ignorant or simply chose to be "morons"... I'm glad somebody was able to help you... take care.
