strong lightnings splash
Friday, august.8: We had 'cat and dog' weather morning and it calmed down afterward but started raining hard with severe thunderstorms later in the evening.
there were harsh lightnings and rolling thunders in the sky. upon seeing lightnings as we sat at the restaurant’s balcony, i rushed to my room trying to capture at least a glimpse of the lightning. Unfortunately, i missed a lot because of my poor camera setting and how i focused my lens. essssh!! these lightnings traveled faster than me :)) i only managed to capture splash lightnings and its tail…
hmm... that are all i have of my some (boring) photographs to share...

Yalah, we were also caught with bad weather last Friday, 8th August whilst driving back to our place from Luth's.....luckily it was the end of our short break that weather started to change....hope Luth is having better weather there in Switzerland (Lugano) :)
Whoaaa... Luth is also holiday in Swissland ... i never heard of Lugano, hope she have good weather happy holiday too. i hope to hear her holiday story :)))
Pleased to know you and family are home well and safe, Joann. We found broken branches tumble down in the forest after the storms. Luckily we called off our early morning walk that morning. Will share more photos when i can. it takes quite a lot of time for this public puter and my laptop to upload photos and most of the time ERRORS, eesssh!!. i can only upload few photos for now ...
Nina... you never failed to amaze me with your beautiful pictures. Ah, it's been raining there... please send some rain overhere... I love it when it rains "cats and dogs" but of course I do not want any damages or anybody to get hurt... Anyways, thanks for sharing kio ... hehe.

Welcome back, i miss you!!! :)) i would put my rain in the mail but i dont want you to get electric shock and hurt you when you opened my rain mail :))) it is indeed really nice to see rain again after living in San Diego for almost 2yrs with so little rain until winter comes. itu pun sedikit saja hujan bah... "Travel changes the way we think" kan... :)))
hmmm... i found out that some of my images are unable to open and blank. Will fix that when we are back in Germany. Sorry about that and we will drive home to Germany tomorrow.
